Dubois County announces May Misdemeanor Warrant Compliance Day
Jasper, Indiana – The Dubois County Prosecutor’s Office recently announced they will hold a Misdemeanor Warrant Compliance Day on Friday, May 21, 2021 at the Dubois County Superior Court. On this date, anyone with an outstanding misdemeanor arrest warrant can show up to get it cleared by appearing in front of the judge and setting a new court date.
Prosecutor Anthony Quinn noted, “This provides an opportunity for anyone with an outstanding warrant on a misdemeanor charge to clear the threat of arrest by appearing and beginning the process to resolve their case.”
Although participants will not be cleared of alleged crimes by appearing in court that day, they will get their arrest warrants lifted once they have a new court date. The event will be held in two different sessions, one in the morning and another in the afternoon. Appointments are not necessary, and participants can arrive at any time during either session.
