Tuesday Was the Deadliest Day For Dubois County By Far This Year, Cases and Testing Down

JASPER -- Five more Dubois County residents have reportedly died from COVID-19, as of the Tuesday afternoon update.
It brings our death toll to 111 since the start of the pandemic.
Officials also reported five new cases of coronavirus in Dubois County Tuesday. That’s out of just nine tests administered locally.
Our seven-day positivity rate continues to drop. It currently stands at 3.4%.
Statewide, the Indiana Department of Health reported 44 new COVID deaths Tuesday. That puts the state’s death toll over 12,000.
It's been almost a year since the first COVID death was reported in the state.
