Dubois County Museum Announces Dia De Los Reyes Event for January
Local Sources - The Dubois County Museum has announced a new event to be held in January.
The Dubois County Museum will host a multicultural event at the museum at 2704 N. Newton
Street (US 231 N) on January 6, 2022 called Dia De Los Reyes or Day of the Kings.
Doors will
open at 6:00pm for Open House. At 6:20 the History of Day of the Kings and Epiphany will be
given. Beginning at 7:00 p.m. Claudia Juarez will offer a cooking class on baking Concha Bread.
Conchas are a traditional Mexican sweet bread roll, a type of bread also known as pan dulce
that is sold at many panaderias (bakeries).
Class size is limited to 100. If you would like to

Come and learn
about the traditions of Dia de Los Reyes, enjoy traditional treats, art, and holiday cheer
provided by local artists and performers. This program has been made possible by a grant from
Indiana Humanities in cooperation with the National Endowment for the Humanities.
The museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m.-4:00
p.m. and Sunday 1:00-4:00 p.m. Closed on Monday.
