Dubois County GOP Tribute to Women Names Featured Speaker
Dubois Co. - The Dubois County Republican Party will host a Tribute to Women in Public Service on
Saturday, March 5th in the Mobel Room of the Ferdinand Community Center.
The event
celebrates all women who have or do now serve in public office. The special honorees for the
luncheon are the Dubois County graduates of the Richard D. Lugar Excellence in Public Service
Series, a nationally renowned training program for women.
The featured speaker for the luncheon is Anne Hathaway, president of Hathaway
Strategies and former Republican National Committee Chief of Staff. Ms. Hathaway currently
serves as National Committeewoman for the Indiana Republican Party. In that role, she serves
on the Republican National Committee and is very active in its committees and activities.
Currently Ms. Hathaway is the Chairman of the RNC Site Selection Committee for the 2024
National Convention and is Co-Chair of the Presidential Debate Committee.
Since 2006, she
has served as Executive Director of the Lugar Series mentoring women and promoting training
programs for women around the Nation and World.
Doors open at 11:00 am ET with the luncheon and program beginning at Noon. During
the program, women will be recognized for their public service.
All women who have served
in public office are invited to attend along with their families and friends.
