Dubois County GOP Caucus Announced to Elect Mayor Spinner's Replacement in Huntingburg

HUNTINGBURG -- A Republican caucus will convene later this month to elect a replacement for Huntingburg mayor Denny Spinner.
The mayor is resigning on November 25th to take a position as the head of the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs.
The Republican caucus will elect someone to finish out Spinner’s term on Thursday, November 19th at 7:30 p.m.
If you’re interested, you must file a CEB-5 form declaring your candidacy at least 72-hours prior to the caucus. Those forms go to state Senator Mark Messmer. He’s also the chairman of the Dubois County Republican Party.
Nominations from the floor are not permitted by Indiana law.
