Dubois County Flirts With COVID-CODE RED, New Codes to be Issued This Afternoon
BY: DAVID SHEPHERD, NEWS DIRECTOR
JASPER -- 37 new cases of COVID-19 were reported Tuesday in Dubois County.
It brings our total to 3014 since the pandemic began.
Dubois County’s seven-day positivity rate was 15.1% as of yesterday afternoon.
If that number isn’t lower today, we may be put under a CODE RED designation. That would mean tighter restrictions in public places across Dubois County. The state changes those color codes every Wednesday afternoon. I’ll have the latest numbers today at noon on your local news and here on our website.
Currently, Dubois and surrounding counties are under a CODE ORANGE.
In our district, District 10, just over 16% of the hospital ICU beds are currently available.
