County and State Coronavirus Update

The latest numbers are in. On Thursday, the Indiana Department of Health reported 1,261 new cases of coronavirus across the state Saturday. That brings the total number of Hoosiers who've tested positive for COVID-19 to 726,600. The department also reported 6 new deaths, bringing the total number of people who've died due to the virus to 12,966. So far, just over 3.4-million people in Indiana have been tested for coronavirus. The state's current overall positivity rate is at 8.8-percent, while the seven day positivity rate sits at 5-percent.

Dubois County recorded 5 new cases yesterday, now at 6,148 during the pandemic.
