Dubois County CARES offering parent education on vaping
Dubois County CARES is sponsoring a parent educational session about teen use of electronic
cigarettes at 2 p.m. Sunday Dec. 8.
Sheriff’s Deputy and School Resource Officer Tim Lampert will share the vaping information he
teaches to students, and he will answer audience questions. Parents also will learn ways to start
conversations about substances with the children. The importance of refusal skills, and
examples of them, will be included.
The adult-only, hourlong session will take place at Center on Fifth, at 505 W. Fifth St., Jasper.
Entrance is through Door 8 from the back parking lot.
Preregistration to attend the session is requested. RSVP by leaving a message at 812-827-
