Sat, June 3 – Friday June 9 The Friends’ Big Book Sale during regular library hours.  

Sat. June 3 from 11 am to 1 pm The Friends’ Summer Bash with live music from the Pepper Band, Adzooks Puppet theater at 11:30, live alpaca and mini cow, Humane Society, the Maker Van with bubbles, free hot dogs, cookies and drink, and more.  

Thurs. June 8 at 10:30 at Dubois Elementary—Professor Tony, professor of nonsense and throwing things.   Juggling, magic and comedy.   

Sat, June 10 at 10:00 am – Robert Halls Springs Cave Tour at Patoka Lake.  Families welcome.  Must register 

Mon, June 12 at 1:00 pm – Board Game Bonanza for ages 8-16. 

Mon, June 12 at 6:00 pm – Terra Cotta Map Pot Adults 18+, Must register

Wed, June 14 at 1:30 pm – Little Painters: painting and story time for ages 2-6 with an adult. Siblings welcome. 

Thurs. June 15 at 10:30 at Dubois Elementary—Silly Safari, Live animal show.   

Thur, June 15, 22, 29  at 4 p.m.  Intermediate Mountain Dulcimer Classes with Randy Tuell.  Must register

Fri, June 16 at 1:30 pm – Lego STEAM for ages 4-12.  Build working machines with Legos. 

Sat, June 17 from 10:30-12:30 – Kids Sand Art Bottles 2 bottles per child, Ages 4-18, add colored sand into bottles in layers Must register

Sat. June 17 Foraging for Connection and a walk in the woods with Joel Pontius at 3 p.m. Must register

Wed. June 21 at 10:30 at Dubois Elementary—Mike Hemmelgarn, ventriloquist, juggler, magic and more.   

Wed, June 21 at 1:30 pm – Little Programmers: computer    programming and story time for ages 2-6 with an adult. Siblings welcome. 

Fri, June 23 at 1:30 pm – Robotics for ages 6-12.  Build with Maker Rok Bots.

Mon, June 26 at 1:00 pm – Puzzle Palooza Junior for ages 8-16. Compete with a partner or a team of 3 or 4 to complete your puzzle the quickest. Must register

Mon, June 26 at 6:30 pm—End of the Month Book Club—reading “Blessed Be the Busy Body” by Emilie Richards

Tues, June 27 from 11-5 pm– Open Craft Day: a wide variety of crafts, painting, sharpie coloring.  

Wed, June 28 at 1:30 pm – Little Crafters: crafting and story time for ages 2-6 with an adult. Siblings welcome.  

Thurs. June 29 at 10:30 at Dubois Elementary—Professor Steve’s Space and Flight Show with science experiments and lots of laughs.  

Fri, June 30 at 1:30 pm – STEAM flight for ages 4-12.  Build and test paper airplanes and glider.
