Dubois and Surrounding Counties Continue to See COVID-19 Rates Drop

AREAWIDE -- COVID-19 cases in Dubois County continue to drop, but don’t let your guard down.

Our weekly metrics say we are in CODE ORANGE, but our advisory level remains elevated to CODE RED.  That means CODE RED restrictions remain in place.

Over the weekend, 22 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Dubois County. 11 were reported on Saturday and 11 more on Sunday.

Our seven-day positivity rate continues to drop. It stands at 7.8%.

Elsewhere across the area on Sunday…

None of our local counties reported any new COVID-related deaths.

11 new cases were reported in Spencer County; eight in Perry County and five in Crawford County.

Pike, Orange and Lawrence counties each reported four new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday. Martin County had three new cases and just one new case reported Sunday in Daviess County.
