DCVC FLAG DISPOSAL 2023

Dubois Co.- The annual disposal of worn American Flags by the Dubois County Veterans Council will be held on Friday June 9th at the Dubois County 4-HFair Grounds beginning at 7:00pm.  

Playing of patriotic songs, singing of the National Anthem and a flag disposal ceremony will precede the actual disposal of the flags.  Clint Reuber, President of the DCVC will be the Master of Ceremonies.  The Honor Guard from American Legion Post # 493 will give a 21 gun salute and play taps.

The public is asked to bring their flags to the ceremony or drop off at their local American Legion and VFW Post or other drop off points throughout the county including inside the courthouse or Dubois County Health department.
