COVID-19 Continues to Claim Lives in the Area, None So Far in Dubois County

AREA WIDE --  No deaths have been reported in Dubois, Perry, Martin, Pike or Crawford Counties due to COVID-19, but others in our area haven't been so fortunate. 

In Orange County, 114 have tested positive and 18 have died.  In Warrick County, 123 people have tested positive for the virus.  20 have died. 

116 people have tested positive in Lawrence County.  The death toll there stands at 16.

15 people have died from COVID-19 in Daviess County.  54 have tested positive.  One person has died in Spencer County.  Health officials there only report 7 positive cases.

On the state level, 1,379 Hoosiers have died as of the latest update.  Over 24,000 others have tested positive.

Nearly 42% of the state’s ICU beds and 81% of its ventilators are currently available.

New numbers will be released today [Monday] at noon.
