Public Invited to Post Election Audit

Local Sources- Dubois County Clerk Amy Kippenbrock and the Dubois County Election Board invites the public to observe the post-election audit process at the Jasper Train Depot, 201 Mill St., Jasper on Tuesday, January 10, 20223 from 8am – 12pm. 

“A post-election audit checks that the equipment and procedures used to count votes during an election worked properly and that the election yielded the correct outcome.” -National Conference of State Legislatures. 

The State of Indiana relies on the Voting System Technical Oversight Program (VSTOP) to conduct ballot polling and ballot comparison RLAs (risk limit audit’s) after primary and general elections. Dubois County Clerk Amy L. Kippenbrock volunteered Dubois County to participate in the Post-Election Audit to encourage voter confidence in our election process.
