Contract Employee at Cathedral Health Care Tests Positive For COVID-19

JASPER -- A contract employee at Cathedral Health Care in Jasper has tested positive for COVID-19.

In a statement on social media Thursday, officials said the asymptomatic employee is currently off of work from the facility.

All employees have been wearing masks since the pandemic began.

Residents and employees are being monitored for any signs or symptoms of COVID-19.

Local and state health officials have been contacted for guidance on any further testing that may be recommended or required.
