Community Foundation Awards 11th Dubois County Relocation Impact Grant

Jasper - On Wednesday, the Dubois county Community Foundation awarded the 11th Dubois County Relocation Impact Grant to Linda Shea.

Linda is relocating for Vacaville, California to Bretzville to be closer to her three sisters and their families already living in Dubois County.

In partnership with the Dubois County Community Foundation, Dubois Strong and Radius Indiana award $5,000 grants to out-of-state workers choosing to move to Dubois County. Recipients must commit to staying for at least two years.

The grants are part of the Make My Move/Choose Southern Indiana Initiative with TMap to incentivize out-of-state workers to move to the county.

Shea will be employed by Walmart in Jasper. Shea says she is looking forward to experiencing the Strassenfest this summer and exploring other local entertainment.
