Coalition Against the Mid-States Corridor to Hold Meeting in Loogootee

Loogootee - The City of Loogootee is set to host a public meeting in opposition of the proposed Mid-States Corridor.


Loogootee Mayor Noel Harty, The Coalition Against the Mid-States Corridor, Sierra Club Hoosier Chapter, Indiana Forest Alliance, and Hoosier Environmental Council will host the meeting.

All residents and businesses in Martin, Daviess, Dubois, and surrounding counties concerned about the effect of the proposed highway are invited to the event.

The meeting will include presentations on the status of the project, public concerns, and sharing how citizens can participate and express their views. The presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session.

The meeting will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10th at St. John's Center, located at 408 Church Street, Loogootee.
