City of Jasper Taking Steps to Protect Crews as Dangerously Cold Air Threatens to Filter In Next Week

JASPER -- The coldest air of the season is expected to grip our area next week and the city of Jasper is taking steps to keep road crews safe in the bitter cold.

The Street Department released a statement Wednesday reminding residents that they’ll periodically run double routes to keep employees from extended exposure to unsafe temperatures.

Street Department crews ask you to have trash & Cardboard recycling curbside no later than 7 a.m. on your assigned pickup day.
