City of Jasper Issues Short-Term Road Closure Effective Saturday

Jasper - The City of Jasper has announced the short-term closure of a city road for five hours on Saturday.

In the press release, the City of Jasper, along with its contractor, will be closing Meridian Road 500 feet south of 3rd Ave. on Saturday March 5th to all traffic. This closure is in conjunction with the ongoing waterline replacement project currently taking place in the area. 

Meridian Road will be closed at 7:30 a.m. and is expected to be closed for five hours. 

The City of Jasper is asking motorists to use caution and slowdown in construction zones.
