Boil Order Lifted For East Fork Customers; Water May Still Be Cloudy

SHOALS -- East Fork Water has lifted the boil order for residents north of U.S. 50.

Officials say it is no longer necessary to boil your water before consuming.

Crews have repaired the leak … and sampling has confirmed no harmful bacteria in the water supply.

The water company warns residents that your water may still look cloudy due to air in the water supply lines.  That air still needs to work itself out.

You may also notice bubbles .. but they say that is to be expected with this type of repair.
