Bedford Woman Arrested on Three Charges in Jasper Traffic Stop
Jasper - A traffic stop led to three charges for a Bedford woman on Sunday in Jasper.
At approximately 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, Jasper Police Officers were dispatched to a possible impaired driver in the area of Vine Street and 16th Street. Officers located the vehicle in question and conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of 14th and Mill Street.
Officers learned that the driver, Jasmine Harner, 26, of Bedford, was driving with a suspended license.
Further investigation by a Drug Recognition
Expert (DRE) with the Indiana State Police determined Harner was impaired.
The Jasper Police Department
transported Harner to Memorial Hospital for a chemical test which resulted in the subject being positive for
methamphetamines, amphetamines, MDMA, and buprenorphine.
Harner was charged with OWI endangerment,
driving while suspended prior, and possession of hypodermic needles.
