Area Man Arrested in Connection to Fatal Crash on SR 37 Last December

TELL CITY -- A Perry County man has been arrested in connection to a fatal accident back in late December.

Investigators say 29-year-old James Brownlee of Tell City was drunk when he went left of center on SR 37 and hit a vehicle head-on.

The driver of that vehicle, 51-year-old Sharon James of Tell City was killed in the crash.

Brownlee is charged with Causing Death While Operating a Motor Vehicle, Causing Death When Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and Reckless Homicide.
