Area Man Arrested For Allegedly Dealing Meth in Lawrence and Green Counties

LAWRENCE COUNTY -- A Green County man has been arrested in Lawrence County on drug charges.

Indiana State Police say they received information that 44-year-old David Phillips of Solsberry was dealing large amounts of meth in Greene and Lawrence Counties and launched a lengthy investigation.

Police stopped Phillips Thursday afternoon and a canine was deployed.  The dog alerted to the odor of drugs in the vehicle and police conducted a search.

They located over 28 grams of meth, scales and other items.

Phillips is lodged in the Lawrence County Jail on felony charges of dealing and possession meth.  He’s also charged with Driving While Suspended.
