Area Man Accused of Pulling Mother's Hair Out, Beating and Strangling Her For Two Days

ORANGE COUNTY -- In Paoli, a man is accused of beating his mother and threatening to kill her.
Jerry Archer is accused of beating and threatening his 62-year-old mother on Saturday and Sunday.
The victim told police Archer also ripped her hair out, held a gun to her head, and put a knife to her throat. She managed to convince Archer to let her go on Sunday because it was Mother's Day. She went to a local hospital and was treated for her injuries.
Archer was arrested and faces multiple charges, including strangulation, intimidation, and domestic battery.
