Annual Wine & Fries Event Scheduled for February 23 to Benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Ohio Valley
Hosted by Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Ohio Valley and sponsored by McDonald’s Owner-Operators of the Ohio Valley, the sixth annual Wine & Fries Event will be held on Friday, February 23, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Old National Events Plaza in downtown Evansville.
The one-and-only Ronald McDonald will attend as a celebrity guest and Master of Ceremonies for the event, where guests will enjoy delicious food and beverages, Nashville’s The Music City Sound, dancing, and McDonald’s World-Famous Fries® – all while supporting the charity’s mission to keep families together when their children are receiving medical care far from home. A game, wine pull, live and silent auctions, and photo booth will also be part of the evening’s festivities.
Tickets are $100 per person and reserved tables of 8 are $1,000 and are available for purchase at rmhcohiovalley.org/wine-fries. Dress is “party casual.”
“This event is so much more than just a fun night out,” said Theresa Floyd-Maas, CEO of RMHC of the Ohio Valley. “Proceeds from Wine & Fries allow us to provide a homelike environment where they can rest and recharge when not at a child’s hospital bedside. The impact of our mission lasts long beyond a family’s stay at Ronald McDonald House.”
“We’re proud to play such a large part in this fundraiser for a worthy mission,” said Janet Rodriguez, local McDonald’s owner operator. “In addition to providing McDonald’s World-Famous Fries® for this event, we are also proud to support the charity in our restaurants every day through Round-Up for RMHC and change collection boxes, plus, 5 cents of every Happy Meal purchased goes to benefit our RMHC of the Ohio Valley.”
