Angela Jones Will Retire after 40 years at Springs Valley Bank & Trust Company

Local Sources - Springs Valley Bank & Trust Company has announced the retirement of Angela (Angie) Jones, Vice President & Deposit Manager, effective Thursday, March 31, 2022.

 “Angie has been a key contributor during her time at Springs Valley Bank,” said Craig Buse, SEVP & CLO & COO. “We will miss her leadership, skill set, and ability to serve customers at the highest level.  I’m excited for her to have the free time to enjoy traveling and spending time with her family.” 

Angie began her career at Springs Valley in 1982 as a teller at the French Lick Banking Center.  In 1987, Angie was promoted to Assistant Vice President.  During her tenure, Angie has contributed to many areas of the bank, which include Deposit Operations, Trust, Marketing, Lending, and more recently has served as Vice President & Deposit Manager leading the Deposit team at Springs Valley’s six banking centers. 

Angie and husband Billy reside in French Lick.  Angie and Billy have one son, Matthew (Clair), and she is the proud grandmother to grandson, Indiana. She is a graduate from the Indiana Banker’s Leadership Program, a member of the Paoli Delta Chapter of Tri Kappa, Orange County Advisory Council for Memorial Hospital, past board member of the West Baden Historical Society and the French Lick West Baden Museum. She attends Prospect Church of Christ. 

“Working at Springs Valley has been a great place to spend my career and to have had the opportunity to work with many great people along the way,” said Angie. “I will miss seeing our customers and my coworkers, but I’m looking forward to the next chapter and spending more time with family and friends!“

I wish Angie all the very best in her future endeavors.” 

In honor of Angie’s dedicated service, Springs Valley will host an Open House at the Valley Banking Center on Thursday, March 31, 2022, from 11 am to 2 pm to celebrate Angie’s accomplishments and to wish her well as she enters a new phase in her life.
