Amp Unplugged series returns Sunday, September 15 with an afternoon of The Eagles

On the Border, a nationally-touring Eagles’ tribute band, will perform this Sunday, September 15, marking the return of the Lincoln Amphitheatre’s intimate Amp Unplugged acoustic matinee series.  The event, the second of three scheduled Sunday afternoon performances across 2024, begins at 4 p.m. central time with doors at 3 p.m.

“Our Amp Unplugged series is gaining traction and popularity and, this one in particular, is perfectly suited for an acoustic band performance,” said Marc Steczyk, Lincoln Amphitheatre’s director.  “The Eagles’ music is a timeless blend of rock, country, and folk—perfect for an acoustic setting—all woven together with unforgettable harmonies and poignant lyrics.  And, of course, the Amphitheatre itself is a beautiful backdrop for any show.”

Tickets for the Sunday, September 15 performance are all general admission, are only $19.95 per, and are available at www.LincolnAmphitheatre.com or by calling the Lincoln Amphitheatre box office at 812-937-2329.   Children 12 and under can attend free of charge.

The Lincoln Amphitheatre’s 2024 performance series is presented by the Spencer County Community Foundation and the Perry County Community Foundation and the Sunday Amp Unplugged series is presented with support from the Friends of Lincoln State Park.
