American Red Cross Offering Change at Super Bowl Getaway to Aid Lowest Blood Levels in a Decade

Local Sources - The American Cross is still facing their lowest blood supply level in 10 years.

The Red Cross is asking residents to give blood to ensure blood is available to support patients' ongoing needs, including emergency situations like car crashes, household accidents, and more.

The Red Cross provides about 40% of the nation's blood supply.

American Red Cross officials have announced that they have partnered with the National Football League during January to urge individuals to give blood and "help tackle the shortage". To thank donors, participants will be automatically entered for a chance to win a getaway to Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles.

Those who come to donate by January 31st will also be automatically entered to win a home theater package and a $500 e-gift card.

Opportunities to give blood can be found at RedCrossBlood.org.
