ALERT: FLOOD ADVISORY in Effect For Portions of the Listening Area

Local Areas Affected: Martin, IN; Daviess, IN; Lawrence, IN; Knox, IN; Greene, IN;

* Until 1000 AM EST. 

 * At 702 AM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. An inch or more of rain has fallen over much of the advisory area overnight. 

 * Some locations that will experience flooding include... Bloomington, Vincennes, Martinsville, Washington, Linton, Bloomfield, Nashville, Shoals, Ellettsville, Whiteland, Bargersville, Bicknell, Loogootee, Worthington, Odon, Princes Lakes, Trafalgar, Morgantown, Dugger and Lyons.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you can do so safely. A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
