72-Year-Old Huntingburg Man Arrested for Third Time in a Month the Same Day as His Release
On Wednesday, Jasper Police Officers were dispatched to an address on SR
56 in reference to the above subject entering the residence without permission and refusing to leave. Upon Officers
arrival, it was determined that Larry D. Jeffries had entered through the garage and made his way inside the home where the
home owner confronted him.
Jeffries left just prior to Officers' arrival. He was located a short time later at an
address on Kluemper Rd and taken into custody.
This is the third time Jeffries has been arrested in a month's time.
On 06/15/21, Jeffries was arrested and charged with 64 counts, for crimes including Theft, Check Deception,
Possession of Meth., Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, and Neglect of an Animal. Jeffries served
29 days in jail was released on his own recognizance ($0.00 bond set by the court.
On 07/13/21. after his release, Jeffries was arrested again on 07/13/21 for auto theft. Jeffries appeared in court the following day
(07/14/21) and was released on his own recognizance ($0.00 bond set by the court).
Later in the day (07/14/21), Jeffries was arrested for Residential Entry (The Above Incident). Jeffries' bond was set at
$100,000.
