28th Annual Safe Night Halloween

The Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center, in collaboration with esteemed partners, proudly announces the 28th Annual Safe Night Halloween event. This highly anticipated community celebration will take place on Thursday, October 31, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ball State University Champions Pavilion, conveniently located on the south side of the Fairgrounds across from the Grandstand.


Safe Night Halloween offers a trunk-or-treat experience, providing families with a secure, indoor venue to enjoy Halloween festivities. This event is open to children aged 12 and under, who must be accompanied by an adult. Admission and parking are complimentary.


Since its inception 28 years ago, Safe Night Halloween has served as a vital community service for families in the State Fairgrounds area. The event has flourished, thanks to the unwavering dedication of the State Fairgrounds to community engagement and the generous support of sponsors and donors. To date, over 60,000 local children have enjoyed the benefits of this cherished event.

To facilitate smooth access to the event, attendees are encouraged to enter via Fall Creek Parkway or the main 38th Street entrance. Parking attendants will be onsite to direct visitors to the event location.
