19-year-old Facing Violent Charges

Jasper- The Jasper Police arrested 19-year-old Baydden Hasenour Sunday.

Police say they were dispatched to a 14th street apartment after receiving a call about a domestic dispute. Officers made contact with all of the individuals involved according to a release.

Through the conversations between the officers and the individuals, JPD learned Hasenour and a female at the residence had gotten into a verbal argument that would turn violent. Police alleged Hasenour battered the female and strangled her to the point where she could not breathe. When the victim attempted to call the police, Hasenour is said to have taken and shattered her phone. 

Hasenour was arrested and charged with domestic battery, strangulation, and interfering with reporting a crime. He was lodged in the Dubois County Security Center.
