Northeast Dubois to Name Schroering as New Varsity Boys Basketball Coach

Dubois - Northeast Dubois has tabbed its next Varsity Basketball Head Coach in Travis Schroering.

In a statement, Athletic Director Terry Friedman issued the following announcement.

"At the next Northeast Dubois School Corporation board meeting, Travis Schroering will be recommended as the next Northeast Dubois Boys Varsity Basketball Coach," Friedman said.

Schroering, on the varsity staff previously under Friedman's tenure will assume the Head Coach position after Friedman announced his retirement from coaching in April.

Under Friedman's 17-year campaign, the Jeeps won 198 total games and 23 postseason contests. From 2006 to 2023, Northeast Dubois won six sectional titles, including in 2023.

The next Northeast Dubois School Board Meeting is scheduled for May 23rd.
