According to a report in the Terre Haute Tribune Star Indianapolis Scecina will be without one of their top pitchers this Saturday in their 1PM Semi State game against Southridge. This is due to a rules violation in last weeks regional tournament. Junior Mac Ayres  threw a total of 134 pitches during the teams two regional games. According to IHSAA rules varsity pitchers are limited to 120 pitches in a calender day.Ayres  threw 117 pitches in their Regional Championship win over South Vermillion and 17  pitches in relief in their semi final win against Union County. Pitching Ayres was 2-5 with a 4.39 ERA in 11 starts and had 74 strikeouts. At the plate he hit .324 with 19 RBIs.
