Saturday former Dubois County Bomber Sean Manea pitched MLB first no hitter of the year as his Oakland Athletics defeated the Boston Red Sox 3-0. It was the first no hitter against Boston in 25 years. Manea struck out ten walked two and threw 108 pitches to finish off Oakland first no hitter since 2010. It is MLB first no hitter since Miamis Edinson Volquez pitched the only one of the 2017 season against the Arizona Diamondbacks June 3rd.

Christian Eckes was the  winner yesterday of the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers Arca 200 at salem Speedway Fueled by the Hoosier Lottery. he was followed by Kyle Hadley, Tim Rivers, Baden Stewart and David Bayens. Huntingburgs Todd Kempf was the winner of the Lucas Oil Great American stocks.
