Jasper Announces Induction Banquet, Ceremony for Newly-Established Athletic Hall of Fame

Jasper - Ticket reservations are being accepted for the inaugural induction banquet and ceremony for the newly-established Jasper High School Athletic Hall of Fame.

The banquet will be held Saturday, September 17, at the Calumet Lake Event Plaza. Doors will open at 4 p.m., with a reception/cocktail hour at 5 p.m., dinner at 6:30 p.m., and the ceremony at 7:30 p.m. 

The meal will be catered by chef Tim Flick and his Carodella’s Custom Catering business. Cost is $25 per person.

Ticket reservations and payment arrangements can be made by contacting the JHS Athletic Department at 812-482-4450, or by visiting the department at the high school, door #5, between 8 a.m. and Noon, Monday through Friday. Reservations will be limited to 600. The deadline to reserve tickets is Monday, August 15.

The JHS Athletic Hall of Fame has been established to honor individuals who have made significant contributions to the school’s athletic success. 

The charter class includes the 23 athletes and coaches who are inductees in a state-wide Indiana hall of fame primarily for their JHS accomplishments. The nine JHS state champion teams will also be recognized and inducted at the September 17 banquet.
