Inaugural Big League Summer Classic takes mound tonight

Huntingburg - Tonight, at historic League Stadium, a pair of local coaches lead two sides headline by former major leaguers and World Series Champions, as well as area standouts, and current and former Dubois County Bombers.

At home tonight, Southridge Head Coach Gene Mattingly's Team Mattingly include former Cardinals Ray Lankford and Rick Ankiel, and Coco Crisp. Plus Mick Uebelhor, Travis Lamar, Wes Allen, Carter Whitehead, Juan Guzman and more.

On Jasper Head Coach Terry Gobert's Team Gobert, Kyle Farnsworth, Bret Boone, Scott Podsednik, Steve Cishek, and Kevin Mahar. The roster is filled out by Drew Bradley, Carter Stamm, Grant Stratton, Kendric Sorgius (Pronounced Syracuse), and Jake Stuteville.

The 7-inning, 6:30 p.m. ET game at League Stadium will be capped off by a brief fireworks display.

Roger Stuckey and Kris Norton will have the radio broadcast on WITZ 104.7, Melanie Arehart and Kris Norton providing in-game interviews.
