IHSAA announces new Girls Basketball Sectional assignments, effective 2024-2025

Local Sources - Tuesday afternoon, the Indiana High School Athletic Association released the new-look Boys' Basketball sectional assignments.

Following re-alignment throughout the state, the new sectionals will make their debut in the 2024-2025 postseason.

Area teams can be found by sectional below:

Jasper/Southridge, 3A Sectional 31

The Raiders and Cats now compete head-to-head in the postseason, along with Princeton Community, Vincennes Lincoln, and Washington.

Heritage Hills, 3A Sectional 32

The Lady Patriots move to a new-look Sectional 32 along with fellow newcomer Evansville Central (previously 4A).

Forest Park, 2A Sectional 48

Pike Central drops down from 3A.

Northeast Dubois, 1A Sectional 64

Springs Valley is the newcomer in the six-team sectional.
