IHSAA announces new Football Sectional assignments, effective 2024-2025

Local Sources - Tuesday afternoon, the Indiana High School Athletic Association released the new-look football sectional assignments.

Following re-alignment throughout the state, the new sectionals will make their debut in the 2024-2025 postseason.

Area teams can be found by sectional below:

Jasper, 4A Sectional 24

With the departure of Evansville Memorial (3A), Boonville and Washington have made the jump up to 4A.

Southridge/Heritage Hills, 3A Sectional 32

The sectional adds both Evansville Memorial and Evansville Mater Dei.

Forest Park, 1A Sectional

Forest Park drops down to 1A in football.

2A Football sectionals in Southwestern Indiana.
