IHSAA announces new Boys Basketball Sectional assignments, effective 2024-2025

Local Sources -  Tuesday afternoon, the Indiana High School Athletic Association released the new-look Boys' Basketball sectional assignments.

Following re-alignment throughout the state, the new sectionals will make their debut in the 2024-2025 postseason.

Area teams can be found by sectional below:

Jasper/Southridge, 3A Sectional 31

A re-aligned Sectional 31 adds Jasper (previously 4A) with rival Southridge.

Heritage Hills, 3A Sectional 32

The Patriots move to the Evansville sectional.

Forest Park, 2A Sectional 48

Pike Central joins the mix in Sectional 48; Forest Park remains in the same sectional.

Northeast Dubois, 1A Sectional 64

Springs Valley swings south as the 1A sectionals have grown. Every sectional at the 1A level will now have either seven or eight teams.
