Boonville
- With an in-conference victory on Tuesday night, the Forest Park Lady Rangers now look ahead to a showdown with Washington on Thursday.

Tuesday night, for just the fourth time of the season, the Lady Rangers took to the road. The fifth-ranked 2A team in the state jumped out to an early lead, coasting to a 60-38 result against the Boonville Pioneers.

The Lady Rangers held a 21-point, 33-12, halfway lead, paced by 11 second quarter points from Junior Lydia Betz.

Boonville cut the deficit to 14 in the early moments of the third quarter with a 7-0 run, though the Rangers would hold the Pioneers at an arms-length. Forest Park answered with a 5-0 run of their own - the lead would stay at 15 or more points for the rest of the evening.

Dealing with foul trouble in the first half, Forward Amber Tretter poured in a dozen points in the second half to lead the Rangers with 20. Ali Welp and Lydia Betz ended the night in double figures, with 13 and 11, respectively. Gabey Gray and Carley Begle added 8 apiece, on a night that saw all 11 Lady Rangers record playing time.

Forest Park outrebounded Boonville 36-19, including 15 offensive boards.

Next on the Schedule:
Tuesday's win sets up a battle of two of the top 3 teams in the Pocket. Forest Park (11-1, 6-1 PAC) hosts the Washington Hatchets (10-1, 3-0 PAC) Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. Pregame on WQKZ with Kris Norton and Ross Fuhs is scheduled for 7:20 p.m.
