Bluegrass Worlds Series

In the Bluegrass World Series at Slugger Field yesterday the Dubois County Bombers defeated the Westchase  Xpress 5-3. In the other game the Sterling Xpress was an 11-2 winner over the Hoptown Hoppers. the Jasper reds continue play this afternoon against the Sterling Colorado Xpress. Reds Manager Bill Alles has tabbed former Jasper High School star Nick Gobert to start the game today. Gobert was impressiver Monday in his Reds debut as he retired all four hitters he faced for the Louisville Stars. Gametime is 3:30PM. Game two at 7:00PM the Louisville Stars with face the Hattiesburg Mississippi Blacksox.
