Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch and the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs today announced a new program aiming to help more Hoosiers obtain access to reliable and quality broadband.

German American Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: GABC) (“German American”) and Citizens Union Bancorp of Shelbyville, Inc. (“CUB”) announced today that they have entered into a definitive agreement to merge CUB into German American. Upon completion of the transaction, CUB’s subsidiary bank, Citizens Union Bank of Shelbyville, Inc., will be merged into German American’s subsidiary bank, German American Bank. 

 On Friday, September 17, Mitzi Templeton, an Indiana State Police Forensic Scientist (Firearms and Toolmark Examiner) was selected to receive a United States Attorney’s Award in recognition of her contribution to the effort to combat crime in the Southern District of Indiana.
