CROCKPOT APPLE BUTTER 10/20/08 12 cup applesauce 7 cups sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 cup vinegar 1/4 teaspoon cloves 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg 1/4 teaspoon allspice Put all ingredients into a crockpot. Cook one hour on HIGH, the 4-5 hours on LOW or until desired thickness is reached. Stir occasinally. Put in hot pint jars and seal. Makes about 5 pints.
